Back to Super Bowl Pool

Rules
Cost is $10 per block.
Digits (0-9) will be randomly assigned to each row (NFC score) and column (AFC score) for each quarter.

What this means is:
  • If you have the upper left most block, you DO NOT necessarily have 0 and 0.
  • Your digits will be randomly selected after all blocks have been purchased.
  • New digits will be selected for each quarter. So, you might have 2 and 8 for the 1st quarter and 3 and 7 for the 2nd quarter.
  • This should generate more interest and increase your chance of winning since you won't be stuck with "bad" digits for the entire game.
  • Cost includes 3 pools in 1!!

  • Winners are awarded for each quarter for each pool.
  • That's 12 chances to win!!!
  • First Pool - Total Score

  • This is the traditional pool that you're probably used to.
  • The digit for each team is determined by the last (right most) digit in their total score.
  • For example, if the score is AFC champs - 17 NFC champs - 13 at then end of the 3rd quarter then, the winning block is AFC - 7 and NFC - 3 for the 3rd quarter digits.
  • Remember, new digits are selected for each quarter.

First Pool - Total Score Payout
    1st Quarter $25
    2nd Quarter $150
    3rd Quarter $50
    Final Score * $500
    * If the score is tied at the end of the 4th quarter, the final score of the game will be used.

  • Second Pool - Sum Total Score

  • The digit for each team is determined by the sum of the digits in their total score.
  • For example, if the score is AFC champs - 17 NFC champs - 13 at then end of the 3rd quarter, the winning block is AFC - 8 (1+7) and NFC - 4 (1+3) for the 3rd quarter digits.
  • Also, if the sum of the digits exceeds 9, the digits are summed again until the sum is a single digit.
  • For example, if the score is AFC champs - 38 NFC champs - 28 at then end of the 3rd quarter, the winning block is AFC - 2 (3+8=11 and 1+1=2) and NFC - 1 (2+8=10 and 1+0=1) for the 3rd quarter digits.

Second Pool - Sum Total Score Payout
    1st Quarter $25
    2nd Quarter $40
    3rd Quarter $25
    Final Score * $80
    * If the score is tied at the end of the 4th quarter, the final score of the game will be used.

  • Third Pool - Quarter Scoring

  • The digit for each team is determined by the last (right most) digit in their quarter score.
  • For example, if the AFC champs scored 6 points in the 2nd quarter and the NFC champs scored 10 points in the 2nd quarter then, the winning block is AFC - 6 and NFC - 0 for the 2nd quarter digits.

Third Pool - Quarter Scoring Payout
    1st Quarter $20
    2nd Quarter $20
    3rd Quarter $20
    4th Quarter * $25
    * If the score is tied at the end of the 4th quarter, combined 4th quarter AND overtime scoring will be used.

  • Website host fee

$20 of the fees will be used toward the cost of the website host. I will get NO money as the organizer/coordinater.
